Why Choose Equine Massage Therapy?
Equine massage therapy is a specialized practice, with key benefits, that focuses on the well-being and health of your equine companion.
Improved Circulation
Massage stimulates blood flow, which can help reduce inflammation and promote healing.
Pain Relief
Massage can alleviate pain from injuries, arthritis, and overuse, ensuring your horse remains comfortable and happy.
Faster Recovery
For horses in training or those recovering from injury, massage can speed up the recovery process by reducing muscle stiffness and soreness.
Improved Range of Motion
Keeping your horse's joints and muscles flexible ensures better movement and performance.
Enhanced Muscle Function
Regular massage helps maintain muscle tone and flexibility, preventing injuries and improving performance.
Stress Reduction
Horses can experience stress just like humans. Massage therapy helps calm your horse, reducing anxiety and behavioral issues.

Before The Session
For a seamless and prompt session, ensure that your horse/pony is clean and dry beforehand. Additionally, please have someone on hand to assist in holding the horse if needed.
After The Session
Consider taking your horse/pony for a post-massage walk or a gentle ride to help them stretch out after the session. Keep the activity light and non-strenuous.
Follow Up
I'll provide a comprehensive summary of the identified areas of tension and discuss potential future sessions. Detailed notes can be provided upon request prior to the session.
I've been passionate about horses
all of my life.
As a teenager I showed extensively in the children’s hunter and fox hunter divisions at local and rated shows. As an adult I’ve continued riding and learning more about the horse and how the horse’s body does the amazing things it does.
I’m a graduate of Equissage International Inc and MidWest-Natural Healing for Animals. I’m eager to show owners and riders the difference massage can make!
